Stoney Meadow Farm is a small, family owned and operated farm, less than an hour drive from Milwaukee in Cascade, Wisconsin. We are very passionate about environmental stewardship, sustainable agriculture and feeding individuals, families and schools organically grown, nutritious foods. We are motivated daily by these values which tug at our hearts and our minds, after reading study after study about the effects of pesticide ridden foods on our health and the scary picture of our food supply in the US. Hence, in 2007 Stoney Meadow Farm was born.
Our childhoods were deeply enriched by our experiences in nature and through a combined 50+ years of sustainable farming and gardening experience. We decided it was time to do things the way we did when we were kids, the way our parents and grandparents taught us, so that we may provide healthy and fresh food for our own family and to help others do the same. At Stoney Meadow Farm, we strive to provide the best possible growing circumstances: quality organic seed, excellent soil health, companion planting and old-fashioned, time tested ways of farming to produce the most healthy and safe fruits and vegetables for you and your family. As a member of Stoney Meadow Farm, you will receive a wonderful variety of vegetables, fruits and herbs. Each of them carefully and passionately grown. Each week, within hours of the crops being picked, they will make their way into your kitchen. Each week's share will yield plenty of the staple produce items, and occasionally some unique items, too. We are happy to substitute for certain items if you don't like them, just notify us when you sign up. |
